Good morning my RP Family. Today’s motivational quotes deals with something that challenges me most everyday lately. This past year has been probably the most challenging I have had in my life. On top of my pain issues from my back and right knee, I had to battle cancer. I had to trust and rely on God to get me through it all, because I knew I could not do it on my own.
In my search today, I found a fascinating, to me, article about overcoming adversity that hits it out of the park. Our answers to problems are not easy to find at times but if we persevere and trust our God, He will provide us with a way to deal with and overcome them. Have a blessed Friday, as we Remember Everyone Deployed.

Overcoming Adversity – A Lesson in Endurance
BY GREG DEALING WITH PROBLEMS
overcoming
Overcoming adversity is what the Christian was born to do. Overcoming is in our spiritual DNA. Overcoming life’s setbacks is one of the main reasons why Christ is in us. He empowers us to do what we cannot do. He is our strength, our wisdom, our hope and our guide here in this life.

As a stay at home dad, during the summer when school is out, Jordan gets to see the work that I do from home. I try to take breaks often to spend time throughout the day with him and quite frequently he asks questions about the work that I may be doing at any given time of the day.

Yesterday, he asked me what I was working on and I had the opportunity to share with him how frustrated I was on my current project. I told him that even though I was frustrated and even though I had no idea how I was going to get this project done, I knew that I had the answers and the wisdom on the inside of me to get the job done. It was just going to take some time in prayer to bring the answer to the surface.

Our job is to trust Him and to never waiver in believing that the answer to our prayer is on its way.

Having faced numerous situations like this one in the past, I told him that only one thing mattered in my quest to complete my latest project. That one thing was to never give up, throw up my hands and quit.

The bible says that we will reap in due season if we faint not. The bible says that greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. And if greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, He that is in me is greater than any software problem I could possibly run into.

So based upon the knowledge of God’s Word regarding my software problem, in my mind overcoming the problem I was having was a given. It was just a matter of time and endurance. I knew that the only thing that could prevent me from seeing a victorious outcome to my problem would be me giving up and quitting.

I told him that if I choose to give up, cave in and quit, then my issue would never be solved and I would miss seeing the blessing of God manifest in my situation. I’d also miss out on the testimony that was being built right as we spoke.

I love taking the time to share practical, real life, tangible truths with the boys whenever I can. And the fact that Jordan was interested in what I was doing, both practically and spiritually made it all the more worth it.

I went to bed last night without finding a solution to my software problem. When I woke up this morning, I jumped right back into problem solving mode and by the time Jordan managed to get out of bed, I had solved my software problem. God had not only shown me how to accomplish what needed to be accomplished, He showed me a software program that has custom settings that go far beyond what I had envisioned originally.

Trusting God leads to overcoming adversity
I reminded Jordan of our conversation from yesterday then I showed him the new program that was installed this morning. I reiterated to him from our conversation yesterday that where we are today and the answer to prayer that we are tangibly experiencing today was in existence yesterday as well.

Our problem was that we couldn’t see it, didn’t have knowledge of it, and couldn’t find it. Nonetheless, is existed. It was real and it was right under our noses. That’s how answered prayer works. God knows how to bring about answered prayer in our lives. Our job is to trust Him and to never waiver in believing that the answer to our prayer is on its way.

Seeking and finding the solution to your situation through quiet time with God will serve much more valuable than the answer to your problem in the long run.

If you’re in a situation where you don’t have answers to pressing issues in your life, I’d like to encourage you to continue on in the faith knowing that Jesus Christ has been made wisdom unto us (1 Corinthians 1:30).

The key is mining the wisdom of God which is already in us and sticking with it until the answer comes.

Thank you for sharing what I didn’t. Jaidyn is such a blessing to our family, and she is innocent and so sweet. They ate working on the potty training at this time. We are praying for success. This is the 3rd try... and they say third time’s the charm. Thanks for reminding me of Jaidyn ‘s purpose, to bring a smile and be a blessing. God bless you and your family. (Anonymous)

I pray that you and I are stable, trustworthy and resilient true during adversity and that we not only learn from adversity but teach others the lessons we have learned, my friend and brother-in-Christ TSgt Joe C. and sister-in-Christ Christine C Cullinan.
I pray that each one of YOURS who reads this prayer is learning the necessary lessons the first time we go through every trial and test. I pray that we are each well-grounded in relationship with YOU and YOUR Word.
I pray that those mature in the faith will stand beside the younger ones and less mature in the faith and be ready, willing and able to provide good counsel as they experience adversity.
I lift up each one who feels they are at the end of their ability to cope with pain, sadness, depression, loneliness, and life itself on this Friday evening. Do what it takes dear God to bring hope to each one and empower them to Hope in faith in YOU.
I am thankful LORD that YOU are sanctifying each adopted son and daughter of YOURS in perfect coordination until the fulfillment of this age.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning Col Burroughs. Great quote for this beautiful Friday morning in Raleigh, NC. We face adversity everyday in many forms. It's how you deal with adversity that straightens the person you become. Adversity never goes away so face it head on with a positive approach and never give up.
Stay safe and have a great day Rally Point Nation.
