Donald Trump seems to be going back and forth on whether he'll debate Bernie Sanders. Should he do it?

The idea for a debate between Sanders and the GOP nominee arose after Trump told comedian Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night that he'd enjoy debating the Vermont senator before the California primary. At this point in the race, Sanders cannot win through the primary process but hopes to close strong so he can contest the nomination with superdelegates at the Democratic convention.

1. Hillary loses either way- YAY!
2. Sanders wins in all aspects unless he gets destroyed at debate. He needs this to stay somewhat relevant. His only way in is if FBI charges Hillary before convention.
3. Trump has the most to lose so it is a game of diminishing returns; He will gain respect by showing improvement in his demeanor, fighting a battle he need not take (and winning), can gain some independents and undecideds. The Dems will twist this as a failure on his part regardless so he has crush Social-anders. He can do it but as we all know, Trump is unpredictable.

I don't think it is an issue of him refusing to debate, like he did a few months ago. I think it is more of a question of productivity. Sanders is going to lose the primary. In effect he is just like every other Senator out there, just with a bit of a louder voice at the moment. What does he gain by debating a Senator not in line for the election? Also, should he debate Harry Reid based on Harry being a Senator also? Where does this end?

I would love to see that, I personally don't know ANYONE voting for Clinton (large group of people), it's either Sanders or Trump. It would definitely be interesting

Yes, I think, this would make an excellent debate removing Hillary from the equation..sexist though it is, perhaps they can stop berating women, long enough to have a productive debate. Just a thought, if Bernie is wearing hearing aids, he might want to lower the volume and get a spittle guard just to be safe. Sometimes Donald has become a bit overexcited in his presentations, points and rebuttals. Who will be carrying the round cards in the ring?

Would serve no function for Trump and, therefore, he should not.
Can't wait for the Trump - Clinton debates.

It may show the independent voters that he does not fear talking the issues and expose Bernie for the socialist he continues to say he is not.
