Back in the 1970s, I participated in a month long Special Operations mission in Pakistan. We were imbeded with Pakistan military and conducted missions from Lahore in the north to Karachi in the south. While working on a daily basis with Pakistan Army personnel, it quickly became evident that India and Pakistan have a complex and largely hostile relationship. Based on my short term observation, I would not trust either country in their claim on the activity...

Every military strategy in Pakistan uses India as it's enemy and most of Pakistan's military is stationed along the eastern border with India. Even the terrorists use launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) to attack into Kashmir, Jammu, Punjab, Rajasthan and the National Capital Region (NCR). Recently, Gujrat has also witnessed terror attacks from Pakistan, 1SG(P) Dean Mcbride (MPER) (SPHR). From Skurdu, Muzaffarabad, Islamabad, Sargodha, Jacobabad, Chaklala, Murid, Miranwali, Chander, Vihari, and Mirpur Khas, most Pakistan's military facilities face India.
