This survey are members of the republican party only. There were many others to select from however, I was only allowed to select five. I did a search for leading republican candidates, and I selected who I thought were in the top five.

I received my information from:

None of those listed. I'd really like to talk with John Kasich though. He's seems rather genuine, civil, and pragmatic. If he survives, he may be my choice...based on the remainder of the field.

SSG (ret) William Martin I would like to sit down with Scott Walker. My preferred candidate is somebody who has successfully governed a state in the middle of the country, has successfully worked with a legislature which is not led by his own party all of the time, and has been a businessman. Governor Scott Walker has championed the rights of workers over powerful unions and weathered national campaigns to oust him from office. He stood firm in crisis without demonizing his opponents. He has displayed much more Presidential character prior to being President than our current President did throughout his first term of office.

The rights of workers to be paid lower wages and have their benefits cut. Yes, a real hero of the working class.

It is a toss up between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump. I think I am more interested in the views of Bush and the shear shock of what Trump may say.

SSG (ret) William Martin, exactly. Watching a train wreck is more entertaining than being in it.

There are currently 16 candidates, I personally don't like any of the candidates in this poll.

Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio, I have heard both speak and they are the only 2 that I have heard that can carry on an Intelligent Conversation without sounding to some degree Xenophobic or sounding like Corporate Prostitute.
