For the exact same reason it was Bush' fault when he was President.

Responsibility is a lonely place, and he is responsible... whether he likes it or accepts it. The buck stops with him. It is easy to take credit for petty party agenda items, but ultimately he is responsible for all that happens and fails to happen. Every president is in the same boat. Responsibility is a lonely place.

Well said, Sir. The first answer that popped into my head was, "well, he gets credit for everything that goes right, so fair is fair"

SSgt Bob Williams Responsibility and especially command responsibility is pretty straight forward. Has nothing to do with any news.

It's just like being a quarterback. When it's all good. He's the man, but as soon as something goes wrong. It's his fault! Unfortunately, we have to many civilians living by that rule and not understanding the politics behind the "BS"!

No one blames Obama for "everything" another lefty red herring meant to make it look like people are unfair to him. He escapes and evades far more blame than he takes. He has become an expert at redirecting.

Who should be blame for the failure in US foreign policy the last 7 years? Who should we blame for a still open border in the south? Who should we blame for the rise and looming threat of ISIS? Who should we blame for the still pitiful economic growth rates? Remember, he had a plan to govern, lead and fix it all for us. Now when it is worse, his supporters want to say he is treated/blamed unfairly.

I don't blame the President for everything. But I do blame him for some of the questionable decisions that have been made, and the sketchy explanations for them. The man seems incapable of admitting an error.
As Harry Truman said, "the buck stops here".

When the Framers established the three Branches of government, and specifically the Executive, they debated how many members each should have. They decided on a Singular Head of Executive. This prevented any "blame sharing." It figuratively made the President responsible for all the country's woes.

SPC Rory J. Mattheisen In theory yes, however... how do you hold a group responsible?

Sharing blame, dilutes it to the point of ineffectiveness.

As Congress (HoR/Senate) has 535 members, and only takes a majority to pass, the ability to shift blame from from one side to the other becomes amazingly complex.

Person in charge gets to take credit for successes and blame for failures even if the results were out of their control. Also, Obama and many democrats have blamed Bush for things well into his second term. So the president is not getting all the blame.

All bills do originate in the congress, but the president signs them into law. If he had the best interest of the American citizen at heart, he would veto any bad legislation. If he signs bad bills into law, he is responsible and BO-care is one of the worst pieces of legislation I've seen in my lifetime, the NDAA is second worst. And lets not forget the illegal alien "executive" action taken unilaterally without the legislators which Constitutionally belongs to congress. The executive has violated the US Constitution with his "pen and a phone; i. e., executive action."

Article. I. Section. 1.
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Article. I. Section. 8. para. 4.
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

What is the state of our domestic and foreign policy, and has been for almost two terms? Chaos around the globe, unemployment (94,000,000 workers lost shown by the non-participation rate), 49,000,000 on food stamps, crony capitalism up the ying yang....... What part doesn't he have a responsibility for? Any time he wishes, he can return the cajones to the Republicans and then he will have a scapegoat for all his and his lady friends advising to blame.

I think that the media has given him and his administration a free pass on many issues.
Just a few little examples: classified emails, trading 5 ranking terrorists for a deserter, ISIS, Benghazi ambassador's and staff killings 911, arms deals and Iraq disaster. Citizens gun rights infringement

ISIS.... Thats all Bush. Benghazi, has there been a President in modern times who did not lose at least one embassy? Iraq is definitely Bush's fault. I am tired of hearing about the emails.

SPC Rory J. Mattheisen - Actually, you might want to back that up a couple of years. ISIS originated as Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad in 1999. I doubt that they had much of an issue with Bush when he was the governor of TX.

Why is everything Obama's fault? I would ask that anyone who asks such a question go back 8 years, and see if you want to ask.... "Why is everything Bush's Fault?" Regards
