Not a very hard challenge in the best of times, but it can push you to the very limits in the worst of times. I've been in the latter situation more than once, and more recently not that long ago. It was the aforementioned scripture along with 1 Corinthians 10:13, that got me through it. What I learned from it all is that promise doesn't mean you won't still be pushed to the limit.
Every time I felt Satan trying to convince me to "curse God and die," I kept repeating that scripture over and over again and thinking about Job who had it a lot worse, but still managed to remain devout despite his tragedy and despair.
