Someone is selling an actual Sherman M4A2E8 tank on eBay and it’s totally worth taking out a second mortgage for.
One of the crappiest things about getting out of the military is knowing that you’ll never experience the thrill of rolling into battle again. That is, unless you have a bunch of money lying around, in which case you could be rolling up to your next neighborhood BBQ in a Sherman tank. (It’s not battle, but, hey, there’s potato salad.)
That’s right. For the small price of $550,000, a fully restored World War II Sherman M4A2E8 tank named “Madeline” can be yours. Even better: It’s being sold right here in the United States. On eBay. By a guy in Texas, of course.

That news is amazing SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I wonder if the main gun and machine guns are fully functioning. If they are then “Madeline” could be a bugler's worst nightmare.

The firing mechanism would have to be made nonfunctional. Remember it's illegal to own something that can fire pit live rounds.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - I hope that knowledgeable people did due diligence and blocked the 76mm main gun with something solid and immovable like concrete and made the hull-mounted machine gun nonfunctional.
