Thankfully as you point out SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL the 22 veteran suicides per day statistic was just that a statistic from a period of time. The actual number varies, some programs and methods help turn veterans from clinical depression. Since each veteran in unique no one program or method benefits all. I have known far too many veteran and other suicides.
I hope and pray that God will bless doctors and medical teams with wisdom as they diagnose and treat depressed veterans. I pray that You will give veterans courage to talk about what they are going through with trustworthy family members, friends and medical personnel.
