Where was all this discussion when the ACA was originally passed??? Oh wait… in was passed in the darkness of the night without any debate about what is good or bad. What is happening now is how our government is supposed to work: a healthy discussion about how to get the best insurance (notice I didn’t say healthcare, they are 2 separate issues) we can IN A RESPONSIBLE WAY.
God bless us when enough people vote to give everything to everybody, that’s the day we turn into Venezuela and is where Puerto Rico is starting turn into now. Nobody wins when socialists take over; everybody loses except the select class at the moment that blames everybody else to keep their power. It hard to believe how so many people can be blind to facts that have occurred over history.

There were months of public hearings when the ACA was being put together and all the affected groups, like doctors, insurance companies, pharma companies, and consumer advocate gruops took part. There were no hearings for this bill. No ones public input was sought. The last amendments were added late at night, it wasn't put on line for the public to see until 8pm the night before the vote was held. They didnt even wait to get the CBO estimates of costs. It was a true fly by night deal, and you are trying to portray this process as the way it's meant to work? Please. The repubs did absolutely everything they accused the dems of doing with the ACA except to an even greater degree.

Currently true, it's still a work in progress. The vote on the ACA was done with a blizzard in the making because they completely lost public support for it and they were losing one seat that would make the difference. All the companies were bought off to go along with the ACA, and look where we're at now; a real mess with nobody being able to afford insurance voverage. Bad law, badly done: my opinion of the ACA.

Democrats are trying to pretend Obamacare is a viable healthcare program rather than a system of government taking control of people's lives & their money.

Just a typical example of fake news spread by enemies of the current administration which go far beyond being political opponents or opposition. Spreading outright lies, distortions, assumptions as fact, prejudicial spin and misinformation has become a hallmark of today's society spearheaded by the press and politics. 95% of all negative information is 'fake'. Don't drink the kool-aide.
