Going with Dr. Seuss again today Col. Also liking the Oscar Wilde quote. So often we think the grass is always greener- I like being me. Busy week coming up and the next few months are peppered with class, training, a huge inspection, and my last excursion into Kosovo. Never slows down- and I kinda like it that way. Maj Marty Hogan - Are you saying you do not like "green eggs and ham?" I have a veteran dad that recently passed, who always taught me to appreciate everyone's differences as a positive thing and never apologize for how different I was. Happy Monday!

And Emerson hits home! Funny how in the military we are trained and taught uniformity and conformity in the spectrum of mission accomlishment, yet even in the reserves there are things I've noticed soldiers do to retain a little bit of individuality despite the team mentality. Be yourself, be true to yourself, and the rest will follow. Wake up better than you were yesterday. Best the best that you can be, and others will gravitate towards you.
