Thank you CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing a music video of Raquel Welch singing Different Drum at a USO performance introduced by Bob Hope in the late 1960s.
Interestingly "Different Drum" was written in 1965 by American musician, songwriter, actor, producer, novelist, businessman, and philanthropist Robert Michael Nesmith who is best known as a member of the pop rock band the Monkees and co-star of the TV series The Monkees.
"Performance for the soldiers (USO). "Different Drum" is a classic song written by Mike Nesmith in 1965 (also copyrighted that year) and originally recorded by the northern bluegrass band the Greenbriar Boys and included on their 1966 album, Better Late than Never!. The song tells of a pair of lovers, one of whom wants to settle down, while the other wants to retain a sense of freedom and independence. Its narrator is the lover who wants to remain free, telling the other that they "will both live a lot longer" if they part ways now"

Saw her once coming out of the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans. Photos, films and even my imagination never did her justice.
