Funny but also hits a sore point for me. Back in the 80s wife's family sold 2 Iowa farms. Everything indicated 2 local family farmers, but about 4 years later we learned they were actually employees of a Japanese investment group buying up Iowa property.

Humor except, a lot of property is being bought by other countries now.
