Not going to quibble, but it was designed to kill Soviet tanks, but suppose that is also considered ground support.. Whatever, it is a great aircraft!

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen -I agree with you about taking out tanks, Soviet or otherwise, and it certainly helps our ground troops...and I guess that is the way I looked at it... In any case, I agree with the fact that it is a great aircraft, John!!! Have a great evening my brother!
