Means exactly nothing as the individual branches can decide whatever they like. They do not trump SCOTUS and SCOTUS has already said retirees can be court martialed.

But if the points that are argued by this case are different than those of the other case than the SCOTUS decision doesn’t effect this decision.

Not really even seeing how this case is about retirees as it states that person was a retired navy with 20 years in but was in the naval reserve. So while he was retired from active duty, he was still in the Navy.
