Thank you my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for making us aware that New Orleans ended their COVID-19 hotel housing for homeless programs months ago amid financing shortage.
Unsurprising that FEMA extended funding through the end of the FY AND the approval process is cumbersome and arduous. Unsurprising that local jurisdictions are wary of relying on the Federal government which has been pouring out money [on credit - Federal government].
Reminds me of the nine words that strike fear "I'm from the government and I am here to help you.'
