(09 05 21) Six planes with Americans onboard are currently being held hostage in Afghanistan.
(Article) Several retired Special Forces and US Veterans traveled to Afghanistan to rescue and bring the Americans home that Joe Biden left stranded. The airplanes (four 737s and two others) are sitting on the Tarmac in northern Afghanistan and cannot take off unless the Taliban clears them, which can easily be handled with a telephone call. The Taliban have demands including wanting recognition as the legitimate government from the United States.(among other things.)

Cpl (Join to see) - That is also codified in U.S. Code 2381 that I've been sharing widely. I have been lobbying hard to get our politicians to take it up but they're all pansies afraid of the political fallout. This is the only way to restore the RULE OF LAW to our government. Politicians don't like that, they all function outside the law so it's a problem for them.

I agree, SGT Scott Adie! I've written my rino and gotten the standard robo-response. I've voted against that asshat in every primary and lobbied my local friends with the same info. Unfortunately, he's reelected every cycle making him just another one of the career criminals.

Cpl (Join to see) - It's a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in brother. Our country, and particularly our government, are all too happy to send us off to foreign countries and the battlefields thereof but are unwilling to give due consideration to our political issues. They think they've fulfilled their obligation by giving us benefits through the VA and a few medals that no one besides us sees or appreciates. We have become political pawns in a world power game.

TSgt Greg Meyer I've thought for years we should all pay our taxes into an Impound Account that will be released to the IRS when the Fed responds to a list of our demands like term limits, etc.
