That is interesting new TSgt Joe C. that DHS has announced that "non-enhanced, state-issued IDs from Oregon, Alaska, Oklahoma, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington will join IDs from Montana, Minnesota, Missouri and Maine on the list of those that do not comply with federal identification standards and cannot be used to enter federal facilities."
I am thankful that I have my retired ID card and my wife has her retired dependent ID card.

It makes sense to me TSgt Joe C. , we need to be secure more than ever. As LTC Stephen F. indicates, Virginia is not one of the states with enhanced ID. I am sure they will get on the bandwagon before long.
