Difference Between a Coup and a Revolution?

Some of the participants at the horrifying insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 seemed to be under the impression that they were participating in some sort of revolution. They weren't. Instead, they were trying to foment a coup. What's the difference between a coup and a revolution? A lot, actually. Despite their similarities, the two phenomena are very different, and arise out of distinct historical processes. In this video we'll look at what that difference is and why it matters, using examples from history of what revolutions are (and aren't).

I listened to the Historian and what he said makes sense except...
1. Gadafi had his Libyan military for his overthrow.
2. Hitler had his SS and SA stormtroopers.
The Idiots on January 6th did not have Police, NG or Active military as a defecting force to overpower and have a sense of purpose. It was just a weirdofest. You lefties have no issues with Antifa Anarchists and Black Lying Marxists causing Anarchy in cities from when Geroge Floyd died and all through that year and Democrats were the cheerleaders. As long as it was against Trump, you didn't freaking care if people of color were being attacked and killed by people of color.
The left has no accountability for its actions in Major Cities concerning these civil disturbances.
Even Covid Restrictions were waived for 'mostly peaceful' Death and Destruction
F Troop would have done a better job if they were used in the January 6th Stupidity.
