I've heard many retired military People say that President Biden took way too long.

The missile batteries in Yemen should have been attacked last October. But commanded and control centers should have been attacked as well. President Biden is a wimp. He did the same thing when he took his time to support Ukraine. It was like he was afraid that President Putin would yell at him and he would run under the desk.

PO3 Justin Bowen Well, I guess you lost track because we were attacked. I think a month ago we had over sixty attacks and we had Struck back three times.

It's not a Republican thing. Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter And Clinton would have struck back by the first or second attack. Now we have over a 100 attacks on US forces or ships at sea. And we finally I think struck back a dozen times. So for the first 2 months we didn't hardly do anything. Thanks to gutless, broke back Biden.

Democrats of the past had balls. I doubt Obama had balls and we know for sure that Biden doesn't have balls.

LTC (Join to see) - Like you, I also believe that the attacks happened in a geopolitical vacuum and that we were simply putzing around the Red Sea, minding our own business and not bothering anyone.

PO3 Justin Bowen - Because like you, I'm naive and think that our actions don't have repercussions and that we are free to do whatever we want on the world stage with the expectation that people around the world will not respond to anything that we ever do.

Yup. That's the world that we live in.

Thank god we have brilliant people like you who understand what's going on and can point things out to people who errantly believe that our active support for a genocidal nation whose actions have resulted in a death toll for which roughly half of the over 20,000 civilian victims are children had something to do with the Houthis' decision to start targeting US troops. How dare those idiots think that there should be repercussions.

Biden unfroze $ billions in Iranian cash and sent it to them hoping they would play nice in the sand box. Biden insulted Saudi Arabia, I believe calling it a pariah is an insult, cancelled arms sales to Saudi Arabia and rapprochement to Iran leaving the Abraham accords in tatters. Biden also took the terrorist designation off the Houthis. Now we have Iranian proxies attacking our troops including the Houthis. Biden is playing a reactive roll responding to attacks and provocation instead of figuring out a good strategy to give the US the initiative.
