LTC (Join to see) No, it was all done by design by Republicans when the first black man became president. Up until then despite policy differences Congress would work together to pass laws to effectively govern. As with any compromise, those laws may not have been perfect but they worked. Once Republicans vowed to block anything proposed by Obama and Democrats the concept of a do nothing Congress was born.
Numbers crossing the border are meaningless, despite the propaganda from the right the country can more than absorb immigrant workers seeking to fill the approximately 9 million unfilled jobs in this country. Immigration laws today date back to the Reagan era and are sadly in need of updating. The right just had a chance to do that with a bill containing a majority of the things they've been asking decades for, but refused to vote for it because their presumed candidate didn't want Biden getting credit for passing laws that would improve the border situation.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Well , i'm pretty knowledgeable of the immigration situation , and this was a swindle by democrats basically rewarding bad behavior and making it impossible for the next president to unwind what they did. We have laws on the books. The good thing is that the gridlock and government prevented is it this from happening. The democrats had 2 years to screw over the US and make it happen. They didn't do it, and now they're blaming republicans when they had the majority for the first 2 years.. Thank goodness we had moderate democrats who said no. What we were going to do was Make laugh a underground railroad that was unsustainable and would have destroyed the country worse than it is now. I'm so glad that those border states said those illegals to the main Sanctuary blue cities. Because now they can't say not my backyard. The system was there under orange man and president biden broke it off purpose.

If president biden would have left all the trump executive orders in place, We would not have the problems that we would have the cooperation of Mexico but President Biden is a traitor. Blacks and other minorities, who would never think of voting for Trump are upset. That money is being diverted, Schools are being changed to be shelters, Baseball fields for kids are being turned into interment camps, and they're fed up!

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I remember one of NOBAMA,s first demands from congress was 800 billion Dollars, & I forget what the scatter brain reasoning was, but as time went on, I could figure out that OBAMA was squirrelling away for some ILLEGAL project that He only, knew about, except maybe dizzy joe. Not long after that then WE were notified that there was some Illegal gun buyers, sending gun purchases below the southern border. It was also discovered that the ATF was involved in this racket, up to their elbows, then not long after that was Crazy HILLIARY, with her bogus Black berry scandal, BENGAZI was in the news, & NO one was ever brought to TRIAL, DAMNED!
Well we also later discovered that some of the weapons that were purchased by NOBAMA, was found in BENGAZI, after our Ambassador was murdered along with MR SMITH, who was a certified CRYPTO security person, &that is the reason these 2 people were illuminated, the bottom line , is these demon crats are more dangerous to our FREEDOM, than BONNIE, & CLYDE would ever be, or AL CAPONE, they are like a church choir, compared to Obama! Afterwards, NOBAMA rides off the day after BENGAZI, to LAS Vegas, NA, for a FUND RAISER, what do you know???
