Army: Fort Hood soldier died from apparent gunshot wound

A soldier assigned to Fort Hood, Texas, has died from an apparent gunshot wound, officials said Tuesday.
Pvt. Wanya Bruns, 20, died Saturday in Killeen, Texas.
Bruns, whose home of record is listed as Bellwood, Illinois, joined the Army in February as a cavalry scout. He had been assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division since July.
The Killeen Police Department is investigating the circumstances of Bruns' death, but preliminary findings indicate the gunshot wound was self-inflicted, police officials said.

BTW, I work out with a mother that told me her daughter became the first woman at that faculty so, not sure which team she leads, I just hope it's not her group; if it is, their going to start looking at this. That sounds like a problem is developing somewhere; just my opinion at this stage.

That is very sad news that US Army cavalry scout PVT Wanya Bruns died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Killeen, Texas SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
I hope and pray that each and every service member and veteran has good friends and/or family members that will help them. I especially hope that when they most desperately need help, somebody is able to both recognize and it and extend help to the suicidal venerable men and women.
