The judge shut down nothing! Every witness had been in Trumps inner circle. The Presecution called all the witnesses they needed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt......Obviously. The Defense could have called any additional witnesses they wanted.

Judge Pirro said it best. This case is riddled with reversable error and it will be reversed after the election. Given the public response to these "convictions" it's obvious that the Democrats have made a political error. They may have guaranteed his election. Pay attention to Capt Gregory Prickett. He is correct in most of his points. Appellate courts do not consider evidence. That is the exclusive domain of the courts of original jurisdiction where witnesses are called and cross-examined. However, he is also extremely biased and his bias keeps him from touching on those points he wants to avoid. Appellate courts look at matters of law and virtually everything a judge does during the course of a trial is a matter of law. Every objection sustained or overruled. Every instruction to a jury. Every order. And this judge apparently has no fear of being reversed. I can't help but wonder why. And, when Captain Prickett declares there are no federal issues involved, I am certain he knows that isn't true. No Captain, I'm not going to debate the law with you. It would be a waste of time in this venue. Let's just you and I pop some corn and settle back to enjoy the show as it plays out. The verdict was just the raising of the curtain. On this, you must agree.

Not many wide awake presidents can rig a State trial, so if he did it while sleeping that's pretty impressive. BTW, by all accounts it was the defendent who was sleepy!
