That is interesting that the USMA Black Knights are going to be uniformed in what seems to be wearing an "All American" football uniform which includes the 48 star flag from WWII timeframe on the right shoulder as well as the AA 82nd Airborne division patch on the other shoulder SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
Lets see if this link to the past will inspire the cadets to victory in this Saturday's Army navy football game.
In the late 1970s I saw four Army Navy football games which included only one Army win.

It'll be interesting to see the new look, SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I do appreciate the sentiment and I hope it helps! Personally, I like teams best when they maintain consistency with their uniforms. Alabama and Penn State are good examples. My alma mater, Auburn University, hasn't made significant changes to their uniform since the mid-fifties as best I can tell.
If you have a bad team and you change to new uniforms, all you've got is a bad team with new uniforms. Regardless, I'll say, Go Army, Beat Navy! LTC Stephen F.

That is awesome! I still hope Navy wins, but it is great that Army has decided to honor those WWII soldiers who gave so much. Well done Army.
