Thank you my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the music video of Buck Owens And His Buckaroos performing "I've Got A Tiger By The Tail" live on Hee Haw 1979.
"I've Got A Tiger By The Tail" written by Buck Owens and Harlan Howard
Lyrics
"I've got a tiger by the tail, it's plain to see
I won't be much when you get through with me
Well I'm a-losing weight and I'm turning mighty pale
Looks like I've got a tiger by the tail
Well I thought the day I met you, you were meek as a lamb
Just the kind to fit my dreams and plans
Now, the pace we're livin' takes the wind from my sails
And it looks like I've got a tiger by the tail
I've got a tiger by the tail
I've got a tiger by the tail, it's plain to see
I won't be much when you get through with me
Well I'm a-losing weight and I'm turning mighty pale
Looks like I've got a tiger by the tail
Well, every night you drag me where the bright lights're found
There ain't no way to slow you down
I'm about as helpless as a leaf in a gale
And it looks like I've got a tiger by the tail
I've got a tiger by the tail
I've got a tiger by the tail, it's plain to see
I won't be much when you get through with me
Well I'm a-losing weight and I'm turning mighty pale
Looks like I've got a tiger by the tail"

CW5 Jack Cardwell I am cured! I was a devoted Hee Haw fan for10 years, then about3 years ago I stopped watching.
Buddy Thompson, the genius, revolutionary guitar/banjo player was a favorite.
Mary Ann Gordon was married to Kenny Rogers, (Broasted Chicken), for quite a while and scored 16 million when she divorced him.
The last time I went thru Bakersfield, CA Buck’s Son, Buddy Allen (?), was still performing there on weekends.
John Henry Faulk a part-time performer might have also have been a Country Music radio host in Los Angeles in the 1950/1960s. His on the air “partner” was Gumdrop Gus! Nope, he was a partner of “Dick Haynes at the Reins”.
Los Angeles had perhaps 5 country music radio stations in the 1950s and 60s. Now there are none, but there are multiple Asian and numerous Spanish radio shows.
