I wouldn't trust the integrity of the New York Times SGT (Join to see) especially since they are somewhat complicit in their unwitting[I hope] support of terrorism since they paid upfront for the video from the helmet camera of Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson that apparently was seized by the militants who attacked the patrol. The Islamic State militants sold the video to Agence Nouakchott d'Information (ANI) which is a news agency in Mauritania. "Without disclosing the price, the Times said it bought the video from ANI and submitted it to forensic analysis. "

The video purports to show Sgt. La David Johnson, Staff Sgt. Bryan C. Black, Staff Sgt. Jeremiah W. Johnson, and Staff Sgt. Dustin M. Wright "outnumbered and outgunned as they were cut off in desert scrub from the rest of the patrol."
Of course this is a tactical video which has a limited focus.

It is leap for the typically anti-administration and antimilitary in general NY Times to claim unspecified command failure.
"The video is being withheld from publication because it shows the deaths of American soldiers and also because it includes Islamic State propaganda, the Times said."

I prefer to wait until the Article 15-6 investigation has concluded. It is interesti8ng the FBI is running its own investigation into a military operations attack in Africa where U.S. soldiers were killed..
