Traffic patterns at the intersection of the Virginia route 286 Fairfax County Parkway and US Route 1 by Tulley Gate at Fort Belvoir have been adjusted, for some time, as the construction site has been being cleared in preparation for the National Army Museum construction SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
I have an appointment at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital for cardiology on March 23 and my wife has one for orthopedics on March 28. We drive past that intersection on the way and I expect if the weather is good, construction activity will be ongoing.

FYI SP5 Mark Kuzinski Yesterday I took my wife for an orthopedic appointment at For Belvoir Community Hospital and passed by the construction site which has been generally cleared and the crews seem to be making steady progress.
Access to the site will be from VA 286 between I-95 and US 1.
Beginning this weekend, Fort Belvoir will change its gate schedule. The changes are due to realigning our security manpower resources. Below are all Fort Belvoir gate operation hours effective as of Saturday, April 7:
Tulley Gate remains the 24-hour gate, every day
JJ Kingman, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day
Pence Gate, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Weekdays only
Telegraph Gate, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Weekdays only
Walker Gate, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Weekdays only
We recommend hospital personnel and visitors and Exchange and Commissary customers use Tulley Gate to enter and exit after 6 p.m.
