I had to chuckle at this title my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown If we had life expectancy of a fruit fly being quarantined for a month or two would be traumatic.

1. Those who spend a tour on the International Space Station for up to six months, those who spend tours at research sites in Antarctica, and those who spend tours on nuclear submarines may well have much more experience at being quarantined for lengthy periods.
2. My oldest adopted son spent 9 months in solitary confinement after a federal prison staffer started rumor that my son a child molester.
3. For a couple generations benighted parents would not let their children play outside on their own to explore, get scraped up, fall down, get up etc. Those of who were able to explore and go through scrapes, falls, and exposure to other children tended to have a wide variety of antibodies and a healthy immune system.
4. God designed us to be relatively robust and we ca take in significant amount of junk food, inhale a lot of junk and exposure ourselves to a wide range good, bad and ugly without significantly impacting our immune system.
5. Of course there is some risky behavior which tends to dame immune systems such as sharing needles and other activity which resulted in AIDS devastating those who frequented the bathhouse, etc,.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I remember this concerni g children and how they need to play outside and simply get dirty to keep their immune systems healthy. Once I started letting my child do this the ear infections subsided.
