I expect that President-elect has respect and sympathy for military-service members, veterans their families SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
I hope he will focus his efforts to benefit all citizens versus the picking and choosing which to support. The one area that I hope he will focus on is improving the inner cities of this nation - educational opportunities through expanded choice, infrastructure development and expanding employment through the bushiness tax reduction so that more small businesses will be able to hire folks.

The inner cities definitely need an effective renewal plan. By bringing in more jobs the able bodied can perform, raising the workforce numbers, the better the whole nation can prosper.

why to Trump... were they not worried about HRC... if we undo the massive military Draw down That BHO put in place and bolster the Guard and reserves so the Active Duty is not so over deployed...
Then let the troops do their Job and not ham string them as they have been for 10 years... the Conflict will be over fast...
But as soon as BHO is out and stops providing information on troop movements and operations... maybe we can get something done.......

It takes a special kind of spouse to survive the military life. Military benefits should never be short changed due to budget constraints, there are other federal programs, which we all can name a few that can be cut for the betterment of everyone. Deployments are part of the military machine and I don't see them ever stopping in the foreseeable future. Families, continue to state your concerns, but remember this "if Uncle Sam wanted a service member to have a family, he would have issued one," and remember, much like the service member, you volunteered for the military life too.
