Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that December 9 is the anniversary of the birth of American actor, businessman, and animal welfare advocate Richard Vincent Van Patten who is best known for his role as patriarch Tom Bradford on the ABC television comedy-drama Eight Is Enough.
