As with most of our "Old West" legends, he was not nearly the killer he was portrayed to be. I believe actual documentation shows he perhaps killed 2 men prior to the shoot-out in Tombstone. Maybe 3,,,

Like so many other "famous" old west gunfighters those kill numbers
always got larger with their growing legend.

SPC Woody Bullard - So true. Many source still credit/blame Holliday with the killing of Bud Philpot, Benson stage driver, though it was proven he was over 50 miles away just 30 minutes before the killing. Just one example.
