The song, Layla, also references two sad stories. One was about Middle East tale of princess Layla who was eternally sad because she was forced to marry a man she didn't love. Other was about how Clapton was in love with Pattie Boyd, Beatles' George Harrison's then wife, who later divorced him to marry Eric.

SGT (Join to see), Layla is one of the few popular songs (at least to me) that sounds just as good unplugged as the original rock version.
