Thanks for sharing a little-known story about early US history. Everyone knows the younger brother, but never heard of George, even though he had a fairly illustrious career early on.

Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that November 19 is the anniversary of the birth of surveyor, soldier, and militia officer from Virginia who became the highest ranking American military officer on the northwestern frontier during the American Revolutionary War George Rogers Clark.
Rest in peace George Rogers Clark!
George Rogers Clark made a difference for the people of Louisville, Kentucky and the United States of America during the Revolutionary War.
