Sounds pretty good... unfortunately the Navy will buy one with half the capability at 100X the cost...

I'm not a former sonar tech, and generally speaking I wouldn't think it would be a viable option for the LCS..... I'm thinking more towards just dump more modernized version of the "Depth Charge" from the platform and blow everything out of the water that shouldn't be there to start with. Why can't the power's to be develop a forward and aft launch platform, with non-combatents in mind that could be utilized in conjunction with a new and improved subsea weapon. Specifically one which with a renewed sense of acquiring targeting of screw rotation of all non-US designed submarine "s ? Additionally with the capability of total destruction not just sinking the POS, trying to engage one of our vessels but making sure that has no survivability.... Just throwing out some food for thought,and to reinforce the old adage if it's not broke don't fix it. I believe that the current towed array system's in use on the platforms designated are sufficient and doesn't include LCS's.
