Thank you my friend LTC (Join to see) for posting the unsurprising news that resource wealthy Alberta, Canada have paid out $240B just 11 years [as part of net federal fiscal transfers] is more than one-and-a-half times as much as B.C. and Ontario combined.
Alberta's carbon tax has brought in billions of dollars since it was introduced in January 2017. All that money gets spread across 15 different provincial departments, where it gets used on things like rebates and small business tax cuts.

LTC (Join to see) - you know, a self-published book from a Bircher-type retired oil industry type doesn't really do much for your argument.
It's not our place to bail our Alberta. There are reasons for concern over the pipeline, and American Indians were against the pipeline for environmental reasons. The United States should heed their objections well before we consider what Canada wants.
