Thanks SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL for letting us know that Hurricane Hermine unearthed WWII war relics in Delaware. It is interesting that the force of nature revealed a piece of metal was that was a relic from Cape Henlopen's role as Fort Miles which was part of the Army's coastal defense network during WWII. Hopefully this will spur further interest in the WWII coastal defense network of forts and other activities.
