In cyber combat geography has never been a defensive capability SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Cyberspace is the domain where cyber warfare takes place. Cyberspace has neither length, width or depth on the other hand frequency and time are much more relevant than spatial considerations.
Software considerations such as operating systems, firewalls, anti-malware, anti-worm, defense in depth against hacking, etc. are much more important than geography in any case.

A big fire wall along with an updated virus program running at all times is not nearly enough defense. I doubt hacking is as easy as often portrayed on television but it is a most serious threat for our entire infrastructure depends upon the internet.

SSgt Robert Marx - I have two firewalls, redundant anti-malware and anti virus etc. on my systems. I spent too much time on the bleeding edge of technology to risk compromise, my friend.

Still we have open borders Sanctuary cities and who knows how many terrorists Geeks can infiltrate the infrastructure cleaning that they're refugees when they're actually sleeper cells. Sounds racist to some people, but that's just my opinion.
