RP community, I completed my MBA September 2016 with the Jack Welch Management Institute. For those of you that are close to transitioning out, or that want to further your education to advance your military career, I recommend you check out this program. Jack Welch and Strayer University have created a program that puts the student first. If you're not familiar with Jack Welch, he is a former CEO of GE and was named by Forbes as the CEO of the Century. Based on Jack's core business principles, "The Welch Way", the program is run like a business; everyone from staff to professors are evaluated on delivering value to the customer.
The professors have been successful in "doing" what they teach, not just academics. So it's not a papermill, you have to earn it. But they recognize that the student is the customer and customers come first. Many of the people in my class cohorts were fellow SM's. And JWMI does all they can to support former service members in pursuit of their MBA and a job.

I agree with some of this. When I became a Dept of the Army civilian 26 years ago, I got an opportunity to get my MBA for $100 out of pocket. Not sure it really did anything for my career. This was at the time every school was pushing MBAs, and you could take classes just about anywhere.

It depends, but today so many have their undergrad degree and many are getting grad degrees so if someone needs one, I highly recommend JWMI at Strayer.
