This is sad to report, another veteran suicide, a Marine Corps Colonel at that. And the place where he chose to end his life speaks volumes about that agency.

This happened a few months ago Marine Corps Reserve Battalion Commander who works for the DEA. What do a bar, talked to his fellow agents and then went home and shot himself. Alcohol always seems to be a factor.

CSM Charles Hayden I knew a colonel at my last unit who was the DEA agents who knew him personally. He was a high-speed DEA agent. He was a Mustang who went up the ranks quickly as well as being a respected DEA agent. He went to the bar to have some drinks with some of his buddies and he did describe some stressful situations at work. He went home and his neighbor heard the gunshot. He was single, not married no kids. It's so sad how people are snapping. Rest in peace to everybody who commit suicide.
