Justice was served in this case. But not in case of the John Giumarra III, 49, whose family owns Giumarra Vineyards Corp., who only got a slap on the hand. I guess if you have money and status your sentencing is different. I understand that the cases are different, but they should both be held accountable for the deaths they caused. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/04/05/vineyard-heir-will-likely-avoid-prison-in-dui-death-cyclist-mother-five.html
Vineyard heir will likely avoid prison in DUI death of cyclist, mother of five
A member of a California vineyard-owning family who has a DUI past will likely avoid prison time for a drunken-driving crash last year that killed a bicyclist who was a mother of five.
