"Mexico's Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray also warned the US about treatment of Mexican citizens. 'The Mexican government will not hesitate in going to international organisations, starting with the United Nations, to defend human rights, liberties and due process for Mexicans abroad according to international law.'"
Mexico is all upset about the U.S. dictating to them yet this little comment leaps out? I think the U.S. is in the one to tell Mexico, or any other country for that matter, as to the disposition of foreign nationals on U.S. soil, especially if they're of the illegal variety. I'm sure Tillerson is shaking in his boots.

Are you addressing me, CPO Jim Cerullo, or did you decide to pose a question to the RP membership at large beneath my comment? Since I can speak only for myself, I thank you for your concern about my nervous system, and despite your obviously insincere tone, let me assure you that all is well.
As for your first musing as to the role the United States plays on the world stage, I can hardly think that you really wish to know what I think, what with your concern about my synapses and all.
If all you're going to do is take shots and snipe, Chief, you can take it somewhere else, because I really don't care.
Get verified. For all I know, you might never have made it beyond seaman recruit.

LTC Stephen C. Mexico is a paid-up member of the UN? The property owner' Ass'n where I live gives short shrift to those who are delinquent in their 'owners' dues!

You have two profiles, CPO Jim Cerullo and CPO Jim Cerullo. The one you posted with first was an unverified profile and it's still unverified. On this very thread alone, you've used both profiles. Perhaps RP can you help you close one.
I know you don't know me, as I don't know you. However, rather than start your own response, you posted a comment beneath mine. That generally indicates the comment is more or less aimed in my direction.
That's why all this got started.

Not a lawyer. Seems to me that Mexico has a fairly strong point that Mexico will not accept the deportees that are not Mexican citizens.

Maj John Bell That's my suspicion on the matter. If some undocumented Central Americans made it to Canada I don't think we would accept them back from Canada just because they got there through the US.

True, but it has been reported that Mexico has been responsible for facilitating the transfer of Guatemalan and other immigrants straight into the US. They also enforce their own immigration laws a lot more strictly than we do.

Riding 'The Beast' Across Mexico To The U.S. Border
As many as a half-million undocumented immigrants, including more and more children, make dangerous 1,450-mile trips atop this network of freight trains each year.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - They are facilitating, to include bus tickets to the border and sometimes plane tickets because Mexico does not want the immigrants from the South settling in Mexico.
