Military Working Dog (K9) Certification with the 947th MP Detachment

Cpl Scott McCarroll When I was at Fort Sill we used to laugh at the way the soldiers would react when we would bring the dogs in the barracks!! We would have people jumping out windows and other people trying to stash stuff in the ceiling tiles!

SPC Diana D., yeah, kinda freaks everyone. I did not get to live in the new billits I pretty much lived in a barracks, and it was weird the stuff you see. If the heard through scuttlebutt when the dogs were coming threw they would put ammonia on the threshold. And one time the dog keyed in on my locker. The MP's pretty much trash both my inspection locker and my work locker. Until they saw my racket balls and racket. Then they turned finished the inspection and left me almost 4 days of cleaning my lockers paying to have my inspection locker cleaned and pressed. So don't get me wrong because in a way I used too, mine was just legal, alcohol. So I know what can happen when someone is high on duty however I was at 29 Stumps in the electronic equipment training school.

I was an MP in Berlin just before the Wall came down. The German Police always warned us not to get close to one of their working dogs. They had attitude!
