Susurrous · Aron Wetteryd Top EDM Focus Music For Work Outertone Released on: 2018-05-01 Auto-generated by YouTube.
Thank you my friend SGT John " Mac " McConnell for sharing Whispering Wind by Moby in nature music video. Your word of the day susurrous, reminds me of the wonders in sound produced by well-constructed aeolian harps.
Nature is replete with susurrous symphonies, sonatas, and concertos from the chirps of bird and crickets, to the sound of a gentle rain, to wind rustling through trees.
Little children love to whisper under the covers and in pretend forts and castles. While babies can utter shrieks they can also make susurrous cooing sounds that are similar to doves calls.
Sisyphus toils in legend as he endlessly works to push a boulder up a steep incline devoid of rest and susceptible to the shrieking taunts of his ravaged mind. He no doubt would yearn for gentle sounds and sleep.
Our tasks may seem herculean at times and yet sleep, soothing music and periodic successes sooth our worries.
Caverns can have pleasant susurrous melodies shimmering through the stalactites and stalagmites scattered in the caves.

SGT John " Mac " McConnell When quite a bit younger Iwould watchthe news programs with Dad and mom or at Grandparents and I had a notepad or my note book and hear a particular $.50 word and write it down.. in many of the Cary Grant
movies he would use them $.50 words and I write them and later or right then look them up and add the definition. It would seem at times in school, as early as 2d grade I’d pop a $.50 cent word as part of a sentence in a current event report
And define it for those who had that puzzled look on their face... One of my teachers would say I needed to use simpler words so my classmates could understand them.
I had learned about “praise publically, admonish privately and when class had a break, I would ask “We are here to learn and does it matter who teaches a new word?.. You will still have a job.. i’m Not trying to take over..i’d Take my leave and go sit at my desk.. I suppose I was being slightly sarcastic.. or one of those other words to describe unruly children.. I would think later that would bring credit on the teacher that her charges are learning and increasing their knowledge of what was taught to them.. I heard the word indignant one day in my early years and got a chance and wrote it down . Later I looked it up and wrote the meaning with the word. I’d add the indignant’s synonyms also ; synonyms: aggrieved, resentful, affronted, disgruntled, displeased, cross, angry, mad, annoyed, offended, exasperated, irritated, piqued, nettled, in high dudgeon, chagrined..
One day on the playscape at school by the crossbars I seen one of the ‘bully’s’ being angry with a classmate who seemed to interrupt his clique’s dominance over the equipment. I mentioned it in front of everybody.. “ you know what Jimmy, you do not need to be so
Indignant when somebody else wants to use the crossbars when your little clique is trying to dominate them!” and I sat down..
I thought it was the right moment
at that point in time as we were all talking about sharing.. Our teacher was not on playground duty that day.. well, I had provided an almost on-time accounting.. she did find out later.. one of the children in another class had seen the incident happen and reported it..
I thought it humorous when Jimmy said I had just “swore” at him when I used the ‘indignant’ .
The teacher then used that word.
It seems I had started a bit of a conflagration.. more students were
adding in.. we had it had a dull roar. But the excitement was in the
Immediate atmosphere.. it could be sensed ... So Indignant became our word of the day that day.. and it spread .. (the use of the word..)
some picked it up not knowing any or few synonym for it...

I find it enlightening that at such a young age you can create havoc among your peers and teachers. That would have been intriguing to see SSgt Boyd Herrst . That is educational fun in school !

and yes I did receive ‘payback’ for my public admonishment of my classmate from the ‘person of interest’.. The dummy didn’t think to take it somewhere privately where he could “clear my clock” and leave no witness(es). One of the Patrolboys was just coming out the door but a few seconds too late to catch the punch to my face(it would have been my face but it was slightly deflected by my trying to block it). One of another older schoolmates from another class
Got into her lunch box and had a little bag of ice in another bag that had veggie sticks prob’ly.. and put it on my face(sweet of her!). The
Patrol boy told her don’t that’s evidence !.. (watching too many cop shows [IMO])... my eye was still close to swelling shut since the Patrol boy stopped her from putting the ice on my face.. What I didn’t like .. it was a half day of school and I got took to the hospital E.R. And then down the hall to see an eye doc about any possible eye damage. By time I got home it was going on 4 o’clock... I was given directions to give to Mom and dad to make sure I rested quietly, far back from the TV .. and minimal excitement... two more days to not do much fun stuff.. fast forward to class on Monday... I seen Jimmy
Was not in school.. He was given 3 additional days off of “home arrest”
Well suspension... (I thought home arrest sounded better.). I had forgot almost Jummy’s Dad was a County Sheriff’s deputy .. He’d be hard on Jimmy’s behavior.. I seen him in action before.. He didn’t go for any bullying, especially his own child. It turned out his dad kept Jimmy out a week.. Talked to a Juvenile counselor and a judge..
it was time for some “TOUGH LOVE!” His dad had him secured at a Juvenile Correction/Rehab Facility for a week in a solitary cell
So he could reflect on his “sin”. It seemed to make a positive impact on Jimmy Early enough in his lifetime.. I had never heard or read of any thing bad in print or on the news he’d ever done later in his life.
I had pretty much lost track after about 10 years prob’ly. I hope that stint in corrections/Rehab made a lasting impression..
