Well I was interested in a few things about this study result announcement LTC (Join to see)
1. It was conducted by Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey by telephone of 803 respondents. I was stationed in nearby Fort Monmouth from August 1975 to July 1976 when i was appointed to West point.
2. The study introduced the term Deep State and defined it as "Deep State refers to the possible existence of a group of unelected government and military officials who secretly manipulate or direct national policy. Do you think this type of Deep State in the federal government definitely exists, probably exists, probably does not exist, or definitely does not exist?
3. As a trained and experienced ORSA I am familiar with study design and use/misuse. The questions seem relatively unbiased; but the relatively small sample size gives me pause.
Only two of this group of question indicated comparisons with previous studies.
29. How important is it for you personally to get involved in politics – very important, somewhat important, not too important, or not at all important? TREND:
March 2018 June 2015
Very important 36% 25%
Somewhat important 39% 40%
Not too important 13% 17%
Not at all important 12% 17%
(VOL) Don’t know 0% 1%
(n) (803) (1,002)
I expect the indication that being involved in politics has increased as a priority could well be extrapolated although it would probably vary across the nation.
31. Which of the following words best describes how you feel about Washington – angry, dissatisfied, satisfied, happy? TREND:
March 2018 Dec. 2017 May 2017 Sept. 2016*
Angry 22% 20% 25% 20%
Dissatisfied 59% 60% 54% 66%
Satisfied 12% 12% 16% 9%
Happy 4% 3% 2% 3%
(VOL) Don’t know 3% 6% 2% 2%
(n) (803) (806) (1,002) (802) * Registered voters
It is noteworthy that dissatisfaction with Washington, DC is significant in each study since the months before the 2016 Federal election.

Funny how the public didn't even know of a "deep state" until President Trump campaigned to drain the swamp. He was mocked and now we see exactly what they can do when motivated against the American people.

Personally, I don't trust polls. https://www.blackandblondemedia.com/2017/01/18/rigged-polls/
#Rigged Polls - Black & Blonde Media
Nowhere in American society are Americans asked to participate in surveys or polls where a certain boost is given to one of the subjects over the other… that is, with the exception of political polls. Polling units almost always appear to ask more Democrats than Republicans and those results are not only made public, but …
