Great read SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I was landed in Albania about the same time the coup was happening. Weird border day...I had not really delved into the cause, but we felt it during our MPC for our Kosovo FTX.

This seems like it could be dated news since the Turkish purge after the failed coup took place months ago SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I am not surprised about half of Turkey's roughly 300-strong officer contingent at the alliance's high command in Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands were recalled or retired from NATO.
Hopefully the lives of the recalled Turkish officers [commissioned, non-commissioned and otherwise] are not in danger.
