Newly Discovered Asteroid Narrowly Misses Earth

A few days back, there was a news bulletin indicating that OUR Planet Earth experienced a very near miss by an Asteroid... The Asteroid was labeled a potential "City Killer"... and we only had a one week notice that it was very close to Earth... That in itself is quite scary! We need to know everything that is approaching Earth well in advance so preemptive action could be taken to change the trajectory away from our Planet...
