No federal assault weapons ban will pass. And the Supreme Court could soon overturn all state...

It would be hard to pass a ban on something that doesn't exist. I have semi automatic, single shot, revolvers, bats, knives, clubs, cars etc...but none of them have assautled anyone. They are inanimate objects. Assault- Verb (meaning action) - An assault is the illegal act of causing physical harm or unwanted physical contact to another person, or, in some legal definitions, the threat or attempt to do so. My weapons have never caused physical harm or unwanted physical contact or thretened to do so. All the weapons I have ever seen as a matter of fact have never said, hey I am going to point myself at another human and assault them...if they ever uttered aword I would be so scard i would run out onthem anyway. It is a concious act of the human in the loop that assaults anyone not the weapon! Therefore, there is no such thing as an assault weapon.

Bringing up the Uvalde officers is BS. They essentially showed what they were made of, in contrast to the Nashville officers.
They will continue to rant and rave, but they only want to go after those that legally own them.
