An interesting concept. Many people are moving into tiny houses voluntarily. There's even a show about House Hunters for Tiny Houses. I've watched a few episodes. Also, tiny apartments are becoming popular and ingenious multi-use furniture to make them more livable. We are part owners of an apartment complex in Hollywood that is becoming surrounded by new builds of tiny apartments replacing large apartments like ours. Our 24 units could be easily divided into 48 units or more and almost double our income.

As an owner of a 4plex in Oakland where the rents are going through the roof this is something I should look into turning the four into eight. Thanks for sharing.

There's no way I would want to live in a house that small, given what I'm used to. But if my choices were between having a tiny house and being homeless, sign me up!

A little bit bigger than the house I lived in before moving to where I live now.
