Wonderful rendition. I used to drive up to Elberton Georgia and get scrap granite for projects like retaining walls etc..On the way up there was a kind of old crazy fellow who had a junk yard next to what had been his home. He no longer lived in the house, it was full of junk, but he lived in an old Chevy van. Along with junk he sold boiled peanuts. I used to stop by and visit. To say the old fellow was a character is an understatement. A friend told me he was the last living decendent of “Old man Tucker” of the song fame.
