Thanks for letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. This week I need to submit my retirement packet to the US Army which included my TRICARE decision. I live in Virginia and I am considering moving to Pennsylvania or Tennessee. I am comparing the state tax rates and benefits for military retirees as well as military and VA hospital locations and ratings.
I would appreciate any information from those who live in Pennsylvania, Tennessee or Virginia as retirees: COL Mikel J. Burroughs LTC Stephen C. COL Jean (John) F. B. LTC Stephen F., middle Tennessee is known for its spectacular topography, including tremendous expanses of green pastures and rolling hills. Just a few hours east, we have the Smokey Mountains. You can't go wrong here! COL Jean (John) F. B.

SGT Robert George, schools close here at the mere mention of snow on the weather forecast from the night before! There's simply insufficient snow removal equipment, most drivers are not familiar with how to drive properly in snowy conditions, and many times, the temperature rises and falls, the sun comes out and goes away, and we're left with ice. Ice is difficult for even an experienced driver to negotiate.
I lived in Cincinnati for seven and half years, and never missed a day of work due to snow!
