Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that March 15 is the anniversary of the birth of musician and a founding member of the Grateful Dead Philip Chapman Lesh who played bass guitar throughout their 30-year career.
Happy 78th birthday Phil Lesh with many happy returns.
I first saw the Grateful Dead play at University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 19978 while I was a cadet at USMA. The next time I saw them perform was in 1980 at Atlanta while I was going through IOBC at Fort Benning.

Mini Grateful Dead reunion.
